The first Monetra log was 9k+ impressions and 60 organic downloads. I said I would write again when I had a second pair of numbers, not a theory. September 27 was a fuller Connect overview. October 1 is the next one.
September 27
Monetra: Expense Tracker Sales showed 9.49k impressions, 348 product page views, 50 first-time downloads, 15 redownloads, 94 updates, and a 1.06% conversion rate (daily average). Sales: $14 proceeds, 2 in-app purchases. Download-to-paid: 1.56% on day 1 and day 7, 3.13% on day 35.
First-time downloads here are 50. Redownloads are 15. That is a different split than the organic-download headline I used last time. I am not going to merge them into a friendlier total so the two posts match.
October 1
Same overview, four days later: 9.59k impressions, 357 product page views, 54 first-time downloads, 15 redownloads, 100 updates, 1.11% conversion (daily average). Sales: $14 proceeds, 2 in-app purchases. Paying users as a daily average is blank. Download-to-paid: 1.47% day 1, 1.56% day 7, 2.38% day 35.
Subscriptions, which this screen did not give me on September 27: 1 active plan, 1 paid plan, $2 monthly recurring revenue, 1 net paid plan. Plan starts 2. Churned 1.
Impressions moved by a hundred. Page views by nine. First-time downloads by four. Proceeds did not move. I am not going to call that growth.
Most people never opened the page
9.59k impressions and 357 product page views is the same shape as 9.49k and 348. The listing is still shown far more often than it is opened. That is the same chain I already had on Hangar: ranking is not a tap, and a tap is not a download.
Fifty-four first-time downloads from 357 page views is not nothing. It is also not the 9k. If impressions climb and page views stay at this scale, the screenshot and subtitle are the job. If page views climb and first-time downloads do not, the product page is.
$14 is still two purchases. $2 is one plan.
Two in-app purchases and $14 proceeds is real money and a tiny business. One paid plan at $2 MRR, with two starts and one churn, is the first subscription sentence I can write without inventing. Day-35 download-to-paid at 2.38% on this sample is not a monetization thesis. Hangar still has no sales data. Sera has one purchase. I am not pretending Monetra “won.”
No ads. Updates (100) mean some people kept the app. That is the most I will say until the next overview moves a number that is not a rounding error.
