I already knew Hangar could rank #21 for “Vercel” without the downloads I expected. On September 27 I opened App Store Connect Analytics and wrote the funnel down.

Hangar: Deploy Control showed 4.14k impressions, 174 product page views, 19 first-time downloads, 1 redownload, and a 0.6% conversion rate (daily average). Updates and sales: not enough data.

No ads in this picture. The listing is doing the finding, or it isn't.

Impressions are not page views

Four thousand people were shown the listing. One hundred and seventy-four opened the product page. That drop is the one I care about first. #21 only bought a slot in a search. The first screenshot is what a scrolling searcher sees. Most of them did not tap through.

I researched those keywords by typing them into the store. Eligibility still is not traffic.

Page views are not downloads

Nineteen first-time downloads from 174 product page views is a different problem from “nobody sees it.” Some people saw the page and left. I am not going to pretend I know whether they wanted a Vercel dashboard, did not understand the webhook, or bounced on the screenshots. I do not have a session replay. I have the funnel.

Conversion at 0.6% is Connect's daily average, not a story I am going to dress up. Compared with Monetra and Sera on the same day, Hangar is the one with more impressions and the weakest conversion of the three.

Sales can wait

Proceeds, paying users, in-app purchases: not enough data. I am not going to invent a paywall conclusion from an empty chart. First-try approval got it on the store. This log is what “on the store” looks like when you count taps instead of rank.
