The footer has RSS because the journal is files. Published posts go in the feed. Drafts do not. That is the same rule as the sitemap.
Not a growth hack
It is a feed. People who still use readers can subscribe. Google can use it too. I do not need it to be clever.
Canonical stays here
If I syndicate to dev.to I set canonical back to hibabuilds.com. The RSS item should match that URL.
Indexing is still the env flag
Keeping an unfinished site out of Google was robots and noindex. RSS does not override that for drafts. Production published posts only.
